Today my mum and I made plum jam. I'm not too much a fan of living in the countryside, but all this homemade stuff and the work in the garden (we cut a tree down today) is so much fun, and it really makes me appreciate the seasons!

Recipe: 1kg plums, 300g sugar, vanilla powder and a piece of cinnamon. Cook everything, and then stir for 15 minutes (in an 8 shape) while still on the fire, and then stir again for 15 minutes cold. The stiring has the effect that you don't need gelatine to give it the right consistency!
